Alrighty, so this one was a different cover for Caleb to say the least :P JT Music, first off, what a banger of a track bro. I remember the first time I heard it just being blown away by the composition, the nuances, the lyrics, the delivery, EVERYTHING! Hence why I stayed away from the track for so long. It truly is a perfect song with nothing to add. HOWEVER! I still really wanted to sing it, but instead of trying to replicate, I opted to go for a completely different rendition. I know for a fact that many people will not like this style but consider this cover a passion project above all else ♥ JT Music made a one-of-a-kind song in "Cuphead Rap" that can never be sullied (even by a silly boy like me). Nevertheless, I hope you can at least see how much I enjoyed covering this song :)

I do love these kinds of covers~ I don't do very many electronic/dubstep-ey songs, so whenever I get the chance, I jump at it! Especially when it fits in PERFECTLY with a theme :) I've worked with The Living Tombstone's material before, and he is just wonderful. I have nowhere NEAR the editing/mixing ability he has, but I tried to capture even a little bit of the magic that he's created with this track. It's a shame that this song happened to be in the same episode as the amazingly popular, "It's Over, Isn't It?". This overshadowed track speaks on multiple emotional levels such as heartbreak, loss, and grief. It's deeply relatable and beautifully composed. It took a chance on this track by adding in an entirely new section as well as extending the ending, but I really think it adds to the piece from an emotional perspective.
