And who believe in (the Qur'an and the Sunnah) which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.). 5. They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful. 6. Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe. 7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment. 8. And of mankind, there are some (hypocrites) who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day" while in fact they believe not. 9. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not! 10. In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. Donation : 🤍 🤍 English Sahih Internasional Al-Baqarah (Arabic: البقرة, "The Heifer" or "The Cow") is the second and longest chapter (sūrah) of the Quran. It consists of 286 verses (āyāt), 6,201 words and 25,500 letters. It is a Medinan surah, that is to say that it was supposedly revealed at Medina after the Hijrah, with the exception of the verses with regard to riba (interest or usury) which Muslims believe were revealed during the Farewell Pilgrimage, the last Hajj of Muhammad. in particular, verse 281 in this chapter is believed to be the last verse of the Quran to be revealed, on the 10th of Dhul al Hijjah 10 A.H., when Muhammad was in the course of performing his last Hajj, 80 or 90 days before he died. This Surah begins with the answer to that prayer, "This is the guidance that you have asked for." The greater part of Al-Baqarah was revealed during the first two years of the Prophet's life at Al-Madinah. Theme: Guidance is also provided concerning social, cultural, economic, political and legal issues through addressing the Jews who were acquainted with the Unity of Allah, Prophethood, Revelation, the Hereafter and angels. The Jews professed to believe in the law which was revealed by Allah to their Prophet Moses (PBUH), and in principle, their religion was the same (Islam) that was being taught by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Although they were originally Muslims, they had swerved from the real Islam and made innovations and alterations to their religion. As a result they had fallen victims to hair splitting and sectarianism, so much so that they had even given up their original name "Muslim" and adopted the name "Jew" instead, and made religion the monopoly of the children of Israel. This was their religious condition when the Prophet went to Al-Madinah and invited the Jews to the True Religion. More than one third of this Surah addresses to the Children of Israel. A critical review of their history, moral degeneration and religious perversions has been made, to draw clear lines of demarcation between the essentials and nonessentials of the True Religion. The Jews are warned not to mix up the Truth with Falsehood. During this period, a new type of Muslim called "Munafiqin" (hypocrite), had emerged. There were some who had entered the fold of Islam merely to harm it from within. There were others who were surrounded by Muslims, and had become "Muslims" to safeguard their worldly interests. They, therefore, continued to have relations with the enemies so that if the latter became successful, their interests would remain secure. Allah has, therefore, briefly pointed out the characteristics of the hypocrites in this Surah. Later on when their mischievous deeds became manifest, detailed instructions were given in Surah Al-Taubah. Donasi : 🤍 🤍 Terjemah Kemenag 2002 Surah Al-Baqarah (bahasa Arab: سورة البقرة, translit. sūrah al-baqarah, har. 'Sapi Betina') adalah surah ke-2 dalam Al-Qur'an. Surah ini terdiri dari 286 ayat, 6.221 kata, dan 25.500 huruf dan tergolong surah Madaniyah. Surah ini merupakan surah dengan jumlah ayat terbanyak dalam Al-Qur'an. Surah ini dinamai al-Baqarah yang artinya Sapi Betina sebab di dalam surah ini terdapat kisah penyembelihan sapi betina yang diperintahkan Allah kepada Bani Israil (ayat 67-74). Surah ini juga dinamai Fustatul Qur'an (Puncak Al-Qur'an) karena memuat beberapa hukum yang tidak disebutkan dalam surah yang lain. Dinamai juga surah Alif Lam Mim karena ayat pertama di surah berisi tiga huruf arab yakni Alif, Lam, dan Mim. Surah E Baqarah consists of 40 Rukus and 286 verses with 25,500 words. The verbal meaning of Baqarah is the cow. This Surah is considered a definite guide for the Muslims about their way of life and dealings. Allah addresses various topics for Muslims and Humankind who seek guidance and ask for the Almighty's forgiveness. These topics include prayers, fasting, changing the direction from Qibla e Awal to Mecca, daily dealings in commerce, debt, riba, marriage, and divorce issues. In this Surah, Almighty, draw a clear line between a Muslim and a non-Muslim. Allah narrated the way of life for a Muslim by addressing all the related issues that a Muslim need to follow and obey so that they become pious. Surah Al-Baqarah (bahasa Arab: سورة البقرة, translit. sūrah al-baqarah, har. 'Sapi') adalah surah ke-2 dalam Al-Qur'an, serta merupakan surah terpanjang. Surah ini terdiri dari 286 ayat, 6.221 kata, dan 25.500 huruf dan tergolong surah Madaniyah. Surah ini diawali dengan huruf muqaṭṭa'āt A-L-M, yang harus dibaca satu-satu (alif, lām, mīm). Surah ini juga dinamai Fustatul Qur'an (Puncak Al-Qur'an) karena memuat beberapa hukum yang tidak disebutkan dalam surah yang lain. This Surah begins with the answer to that prayer, "This is the guidance that you have asked for." The greater part of Al-Baqarah was revealed during the first two years of the Prophet's life at Al-Madinah. Theme: Guidance is also provided concerning social, cultural, economic, political and legal issues through addressing the Jews who were acquainted with the Unity of Allah, Prophethood, Revelation, the Hereafter and angels. The Jews professed to believe in the law which was revealed by Allah to their Prophet Moses (PBUH), and in principle, their religion was the same (Islam) that was being taught by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Although they were originally Muslims, they had swerved from the real Islam and made innovations and alterations to their religion. As a result they had fallen victims to hair splitting and sectarianism, so much so that they had even given up their original name "Muslim" and adopted the name "Jew" instead, and made religion the monopoly of the children of Israel. This was their religious condition when the Prophet went to Al-Madinah and invited the Jews to the True Religion. More than one third of this Surah addresses to the Children of Israel. A critical review of their history, moral degeneration and religious perversions has been made, to draw clear lines of demarcation between the essentials and nonessentials of the True Religion. The Jews are warned not to mix up the Truth with Falsehood. During this period, a new type of Muslim called "Munafiqin" (hypocrite), had emerged. There were some who had entered the fold of Islam merely to harm it from within. There were others who were surrounded by Muslims, and had become "Muslims" to safeguard their worldly interests. They, therefore, continued to have relations with the enemies so that if the latter became successful, their interests would remain secure. Allah has, therefore, briefly pointed out the characteristics of the hypocrites in this Surah. Later on when their mischievous deeds became manifest, detailed instructions were given in Surah Al-Taubah.
