Having a rover that can drill through a mountain is convenient but only saves an engineer half the work. What if we build the tunnel walls and floor while we drill! In this follow on video to the "How To Build A Tunnel Boring Machine" we are going to modify our driller with welders to do just that. This tutorial focuses on the most important part of your early survival in Space Engineers: getting an atmospheric mining ship up and running. This will guide you through all of the basics to getting a working mining ship, from batteries, to reactors, to lighting setup, oxygen management and tunnel designs. Which power block is truly the best in Space Engineers? Is it the small reactor? The solar panel? The hydrogen engine? Which consumes more fuel, has the highest output, or is cheaper to build? In this video you will get your questions answered about all of the different power blocks in SE, for large grid. Now its time to find out which sits at the very top, and which belongs down in the trash compactor! The ranking will be shown in a Tier List to give an easy overview as to which one sits on top, and which at the bottom. All whilst each segment about each block will have its own conclusion. The new Automatons AI Update has been released for Space engineers, with it came the new Event Controller! In this video, I will show you how to use the Event controller, and some of the cool things it can do. Today we're building our first flying ship using atmospheric thrusters. This is an extremely basic and quick version of a mining ship. We set up the controls for thrusters, drill and landing gear on the hotbar and test drive mining for ores.
In this tutorial for Space Engineers we'll be building a wheeled vehicle to carry our mining ship to and from the mining sites.
